Don obtained both his bachelor's and law degree from Florida State University. Soon after graduating from law school he joined the 14th Judicial Circuit of Florida as Senior Staff Attorney. There he worked directly with the judges on all matters before the judiciary with an emphasis on criminal and family law. 

After a period of time as associate general counsel for the Florida Dental Association in Tallahassee Don returned home to Panama City.  He partnered with Nancy Jones Gaglio and the firm of Jones Gaglio & Dennis was born.

He has over 20 years of experience in the legal field. Graduated in the top 15% of his class at FSU. Has been published in multiple scholarly journals.
